A Federal High Court in Lagos, Thursday granted National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, to declare four suspected drug traffickers wanted.

The suspects are: Olarenwaju Abdulai a.k.a, Alhaji Loyingbo, Olufemi Abioye a.k.a ‘Igbono’ ‘Baba Eje’, Femi Iwaya, ‘Ade Iwaya’ and Alate Bukki of KaffyTravels.

The wanted suspected drug traffickers were said to be allies to an alleged drug dealer, Suleiman Ganiu a.k.a. Barryshine, who is being tried before the court on drug trafficking related offences.

The order for arrest of the suspected drug traffickers granted by the court, was sequel to an ex-parte application filed and argued by counsel to the NDLEA, Mr. Abu Ibrahim.

According to the NDLEA lawyer, the four suspects, who are on the run, were said to have been implicated in drug trafficking cases involving an alleged Lagos based drug lord Suleiman Aremu Ganiu a k. a Barryshine.

In the ex-parte application, the anti-narcotic agency sought for a order of the court declaring the suspects, Olarenwaju Abdulai, Oluwafemi Abidoye, Olumuyiwa Ilori, and Alate Bukki of Kaffy Travels wanted by a public notice with their photographs conspicuously displayed for their involvement in drug trafficking activities with Suleiman Ganiu a.k.a ‘Barryshine’ ,’Ejeoto’.

The NDLEA said that on November 13, 2022, one Ajisegiri Sidika was arrested at MMIA Ikeja-Lagos during the outward clearance of Qatar Airways flight to Saudi Arabia with 400 grams of Cocaine concealed in foot wears.

That in the course of investigation into the said arrest of Ajisegiri Sidika, Olarenwaju Abdulai a.k.a. ‘Alhaji Loyingbo’ and Suleiman Ganiu a.k.a. ‘Barryshine’ ‘Ejeoto’ were implicated in the said arrest.

That one Oluwafemi Abidoye a.k.a. ‘Igbono’, ‘Baba Eje’, ‘Femi Iwaya’, ‘Ade Iwaya’, was also implicated as the middle person between the courier and the duo Olarenju Abdulai a.k.a ‘Alhaji Loyingbo’ and Suleiman Ganiu a.k.a ‘Barryshine’ ‘Ejeoto’.
