…LASU’s best graduating student
Deputy Governor of Edo State, Mr. Philip Shaibu, has congratulated Yusuf Aminat lmoitsemeh, a first class Law graduate from the Lagos State University, LASU.
She is Edo-born and hails from Etsako East Local Government Area of the state.
In a congratulatory message, Shaibu said: “It is with utmost delight that l congratulate a worthy Edo daughter, Yusuf Aminat lmoitsemeh, for graduating with a first-class in Law from the Lagos State University.
“I am particularly pleased because she broke a 40- year academic record of the institution, meaning that she made alpha grades in all her courses.
“I am proud to celebrate your excellent academic feat, having defiled all odds, given your humble background to record a first-class in your chosen Law course.
“By your stellar performance, you have manifestly demonstrated the ‘I can do’ spirit of the enterprising Edo man and woman.
You made yourself, family proud
” You have not only made yourself and your family proud, in particular, the good people of Etsako East and Edo State in general.
“As a Government, the present administration will continue to prioritize its education programs and policies for quality academic pursuit by the citizenry.
“Once again, l celebrate you as you have now become a distinguished Ambassador of our dear Edo State and by extension a role-model to the girl-child”, Shaibu added.
