Mr. Samuel Ortom, former Governor of Benue State, has submitted himself to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, in Makurdi.
Ortom, who submitted himself for questioning, said anyone accusing him of committing any crime should come up to prove it.

Ortom disclosed that he was invited by EFCC to respond to allegations about his eight years stewardship as governor of the state.
Recall that Ortom had also called on appointees under his administration to make themselves available for questioning if invited, saying “Anytime you are invited by the EFCC, don’t be afraid to go, as for me I am not a coward to run away from EFCC, if they come for me I will follow them.
“I have nothing to fear, I don’t have any investment in Europe, all I have are in this (Benue) state. If anyone accuse me of committing any crime, let the person come prove it.”
