Presidential candidate of Labour Party, LP, in the February 25, poll, Mr. Peter Obi has facilitated with men on the celebration of the International Men’s Day.
Obi in a post on his X handle, said: Today, set out as International Men’s Day, I join the global community in celebrating our men, whose strength, courage, and vigour sustain our society on many fronts.
“I celebrate, particularly, men who bear the economic burdens of providing for their families, irrespective of the present economic hardship in the country.
“I salute our men who uphold the pristine values of integrity, honesty, and moral rectitude, in today’s world where moral decadence is the new normal, and especially in our country, where impunity and rascality are becoming licensed.
“I lebrate our men, who by many means, are contributing, generously, to the growth and development of our dear nation.
“We are all together in this journey to building a better nation for ourselves and our generations unborn, and we will not give up, because it is possible.
“Happy International Men’s Day,” he added.
