The Indigenous People of Biafra, IPoB, has told Niger Delta militant, Asari Dokubo to steel clear of South East or face the wrath of the people.
A statement by its Media and Publicity Secretary, Emma Powerful, said: “IPoB led by Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, wish to draw the attention of our people to what is happening and what is about to happen.
“We are calling on the Nigeria government to stop funding and fueling insecurity in Biafra land, particularly the Southeast Region.
“It is unfortunate that Nigeria media and Igbo political leaders are mute over the formation of pro-government Islamic militia headed by Alhaji Asari Dokubo.
“The group who is among the groups causing mayhem that is sweeping across Igbo land. When IPoB launched Eastern Security Network, ESN in December 2020 to protect our bushes and forests from Fulani terrorists, the Nigeria media and some Igbo politicians were against our self-defense project.
“Most of our people did not foresee what we saw then but were deceived to downgrade the danger facing our region from Fulani herdsmen with connivance of Nigeria security agents.

“But today, ESN has managed to secure our bushes and forests for our people to go back to farms, which was hitherto impossible due to Fulani massacring activities.
“Currently, Biafrans, particularly Ndigbo, are confronted with threats from the new Pro-Government Islamic Militia group formed and controlled by Asari Dokubo, but funded by the APC government.
“Unfortunately, some prominent Igbo men and women are behaving as if they are not aware of the dangers ahead.
“The ongoing insecurity in our region are masterminded by the fifth columnists and their militias.
“Their agenda are; first to make peaceful Biafra agitation look violent before the international community.
“Their second agenda is to create an unsafe environment in order to discourage our people from bringing their investment home even as they are being victimized in the Northern and Western Nigeria.
State sponsored insecurity may not end soon
“The State sponsored insecurity may not end soon. It may lead to something better imagined if we don’t stand up to confront these sponsored militia groups contracted to destabilize Igboland.
“Asari Dokubo, the leader of this Pro-Government Islamic Militia utterances so far, suggests that he has an evil agenda, which is being spoon-fed through him by powerful authorities against Ndigbo.

“Our people must wise up now and prepare ahead of that which is to come from Asari Dokubo and his paymasters.
“There is a need for our people to rise up now and support IPoB as we have already volunteered to protect our region in case of any eventuality.
ESN has done well in combating activities of Fulani terrorists
“ESN operatives have done wonderfully well in combating the murderous activities of Fulani terrorists, named herdsmen through the financial contributions of IPoB members worldwide.
“However, more remains undone as those funding the violent Islamic conquest of our land are not giving up.
“The State and community sponsored vigilantes, as much as they do their best are completely under the control of the government via Nigeria Police, hence incapable of confronting the government backed terrorist’s
“However, ESN has the independence, capability, strategy, and manpower to confront and stop the onslaught of Fulani terrorists and Pro-Government Islamic Militia that is about to launch a heavy attacks in our region in case the political events turn against the incumbent government in Nigeria,” it added.
