Governor Monday Okpebholo of Edo State, has signed the 2025 state budget into law, with a total value of N675,220,58,858. 52.
The budget, which was passed by the Edo State House of Assembly, reflects the state government’s commitment to driving development across various sectors.
During the signing ceremony, Governor Okpebholo expressed his satisfaction with the collaborative efforts of the legislature and the executive in crafting a budget that would prioritize infrastructure, security, education, healthcare, and economic growth.
He assured the people of Edo State that the funds would be used judiciously to deliver critical services, foster job creation, and enhance the living standards of the residents.
The Governor emphasized that the 675 billion Naira budget was designed to address the immediate needs of the state while also laying a solid foundation for sustainable development.
