Babalakin & Co. Bids Farewell to Prof. Adaralegbe

Babalakin & Co. has announced the departure of one of its longest-serving partners, Professor Bayo Adaralegbe, marking the end of a remarkable 34-year career that shaped the firm’s growth, culture, and professional standing.

Professor Adaralegbe, widely respected for his leadership in Arbitration and Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR), played a central role in expanding the firm’s Energy and Natural Resources practice.

Beyond his legal expertise, he became a pillar in mentoring young lawyers, promoting excellence, and helping define the ethos that has guided the firm for decades.

In a statement, Managing Partner, Wale Akoni, SAN, praised the outgoing partner for his enduring contributions to both the firm and the wider legal profession.

He described Adaralegbe’s service as “immeasurable,” noting that his intellect, dedication, and guidance had left “an indelible mark” on colleagues and the institution as a whole.
