Lawyer, writer and activist, Douglas Ogbankwa, has dedicated his Award of Excellence by the Shalom Bible and Leadership Academy in Benin City, Edo State, to the voiceless and defenceless in the society, that “their voices are heard in our quiet muses while interrogating the diverse issues that beleaguer our beloved nation. “
The Award was given to him weekend by the Faculty of the Shalom Bible and Leadership Academy led by activist Preacher, Pastor Moses Onodua.
Earlier in the Citation before the Award, Pastor Onodua described Ogbankwa, as “the voice of the voiceless and defence of the Defenceless”.
He celebrated the ability of the Awardee to be to put together major Nigerian elite and policy makers in one platform on WhatssAp called the “Intellectuals Hub” where issues that concern the Nigerian society are tackled and handled.
The Award which took place during the 7th Graduation of the Shalom Bible and Leadership Academy in Benin City, also featured an Award of Excellence to Edo State legislator and activist, Destiny Enabulele, who is a member of the Edo State House of Assembly, among others.
It also featured Award of Doctorate Degree to many, Including one to Lagos Based Philanthropist, business nan and Clergy, Dr. Oluwaseun Alabi.
