Former Delta state governor, Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, has said Edo State Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, governorship candidate, Mr. Asue Ighodalo will provide innovative, competent, cost-effective and well-timed solutions to boost Edo economy.
Okowa spoke on Monday, when Mr. Ighodalo paid him a courtsey call at his country home in Owa-Alero.
Okowa said: “In preparation for the upcoming gubernatorial elections in Edo State, this afternoon, I received a courtesy visit from Mr. Ighodalo, the governorship candidate of the PDP, at my country home in Owa-Alero.
“As a foremost lawyer and investment banker, I have a high regard for Mr. Asue Ighodalo’s capabilities and vision for Edo State.
“I believe he will provide innovative, competent, cost-effective and well-timed solutions that will help boost the economy of the state and also improve the lives of the people.
“I urge all members of our party across all levels within the state to work together in unity to ensure that our party emerges victorious at the polls.
“I also call on the good people of Edo State to come out en masse on September 21, to vote for the PDP so the people of Edo State can continue to enjoy the dividends of democracy,” he added.
