Nigerian Law Society greets Muslims on Eid Al-Adha

The Nigerian Law Society, NLS, has extended its warm greetings and best wishes to all Muslims on the joyous occasion of Eid al-Adha.

President, Nigerian Law Society, Mr. Kunle Ogunba, SAN, in a statement on Wednesday, said: “Eid al-Adha, also known as Eid el Kabir, holds great significance in the Islamic faith.

“It commemorates Prophet Ibrahim’s unwavering devotion to Allah and serves as a reminder of the values of sacrifice, faith, and compassion.

“As we celebrate this auspicious occasion, let us reflect upon the timeless lessons of Eid al-Adha. It teaches us the importance of selflessness, generosity, and the spirit of sharing with those in need.

“These values resonate with the principles of justice, fairness, and equality that we strive to uphold in our legal profession and society as a whole.

“The NLS recognizes and appreciates the immense contributions of the Muslim community to the development and progress of Nigeria.
