Obi marks 62nd birthday at Plateau IDP camps

Presidential candidate of Labour Party, LP, in the February 25, poll, Mr. Peter Obi on Wednesday, spent his 62nd birthday at different Internally Displaced Persons Camps in Plateau State.

Obi in his tweets on Wedneday, said:

Today, I was in Mangu Local Government Area of Plateau State, to mark my 62nd birthday at the different Internally Displaced Persons Camps in the area.

“I understand the peculiar struggle that the people have, especially with the recent hike in terror attacks in the area.

“I encouraged them to be of good cheer and continue to pray for God’s intervention in the affairs of Nigeria.

“Every Nigerian in any part of the country deserves to live in a safe and secure nation, and that is the vision of the New Nigeria which we look forward to.

Mr. Obi presents 100 bags of rice for IDPs to the Mishkaham Mwaghavul, Da John Hirse.

“I also paid a courtesy visit to the Governor of Plateau State, Caleb Mutfwang, where I commiserated with him over the terror attacks. May God heal our land.”
