Presidential candidate of Labour Party, LP, Mr. Peter Obi on Friday, tendered before the Presidential Election Petition Court, PEPC, sitting in Abuja, results of the February 25, poll from Adamawa, Bayelsa, Oyo, Edo, Lagos and Akwa Ibom states as of part of evidence in the prosecution of his petition challenging the declaration of President Bola Tinubu by Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, as winner of the poll.
Obi, is contending in the petition that Tinubu, the All Progressives Congress, APC, presidential candidate didn’t win majority of the lawful vote cast in the February 25, poll.
He is also contending that Tinubu,was not qualified abinitio to contest the election.
At Friday resumed hearing in the matter, Obi through his counsel, tendered about 136 additional exhibits to support his claim.
The exhibits were admitted by the Justice Haruna Tsammani-led five-member panel.
Meanwhile, INEC, Tinubu and Vice President Kashim Shettima, as well as the APC, challenged the admission of the results in evidence.
