Former Anambra State governor, Mr. Peter Obi, has described Prof. Pat Utomi, as a truly detribalised Nigerian, who has positively impacted the nation in different capacities.
Obi, on the 68th birthday of Prof. Utomi, on Tuesday, said:
“Today, I joined other respectable Nigerians to celebrate my friend and very dear elder brother, Prof Pat Utomi, as he marked his 68th Birthday and to celebrate the 20 years anniversary of his not-for-profit organisation, Centre for Values in Leadership, CVL, in Lagos.
“I am sincerely delighted to celebrate the man whose desire for excellence is immeasurable. Prof Utomi has been a familiar voice echoing for good governance in the nation.
“He not only desires a better Nigeria, he makes immense sacrifices in contributing to the growth and development of the nation.
“A truly detribalised Nigerian, Prof. Utomi has positively impacted the nation in different capacities. As a teacher and well published author, he adds to our wealth of knowledge.

“As a renowned economist, his economic ideas greatly contribute to overall economic growth.
“He is also a very respected leader, who aside doing the right thing, desires to raise a generation of value driven leaders. This he tries to achieve through CVL.
“I, therefore, celebrate the great works he is doing at the CVL by equipping the youths with values and leadership skills that will position them as responsible members of society and value-driven leaders of the nation.
“I wish him more healthy, fruitful, and happy years as he continues his immense contributions to our collective journey to a New Nigeria,” he added.
