Sosa Fruit Drink and Bigi Table Water, two premium brands from Rite Foods Limited, were proud sponsors of the Association of Community Pharmacists of Nigeria, ACPN, Continuing Education Conference, CEC, 2024 held in Lagos.
Themed “Strengthening Community Pharmacy Practice for Universal Health Coverage,” the conference brought together pharmacists from across different community zones in Lagos to discuss innovative business models, positive mindsets, and collaboration for improved healthcare services.
The event had the sub-themes “Innovative Business Models for Community Pharmacists in a High Inflation Economy,” and “Mindset Shift: Cultivating Positive Perspectives in the Face of Adversity,” and held March 19 and 29, 2024, with emphasis on collaboration and teamwork for improved healthcare services.
Sosa Fruit Drink, with its five refreshing flavours, provided a tasty and healthy boost to conference participants. Bigi Premium Drinking Water, purified using best practices, ensured everyone stayed hydrated throughout the event.
In his remark, Adewale Oladigbolu, the National Chairman of ACPN, said the aim of the conference is for Pharmacists to be better equipped with the knowledge to be innovative to serve the communities they represent.
“We must continue to learn to be at the top of our profession,” he stated.

He said the community practice in Nigeria has a big challenge, as about 6,000 pharmacists are serving the country’s population of over 200 million people, a situation that calls for collaboration with the Federal Government for a more robust coverage plan.
Oladigbolu commended Rite Foods for its support.
“We are grateful to Rite Foods for their support,” he said.
“Sosa and Bigi helped energise our team and contribute to the conference’s success. This partnership demonstrates Rite Foods’ commitment to a healthier Nigeria.”
Adedotun Ajibade, the Media and Insights Manager, Rite Foods Ltd said: “The Sosa Fruit Drink and Bigi Premium Drinking Water brands connect with consumers through various touchpoints and the ACPN Conference is one of the platforms for reaching out to them for improved well-being.
“By sponsoring the ACPN conference, we aimed to connect with pharmacists and contribute to their well-being, which ultimately benefits the communities they serve.”
