Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC, and the Trade Union Congress, TUC, of Nigeria, have told Nigerians to stockpile foodstuffs, as the nationwide indefinite strike will start from October 3.
The labour bodies said the strike would shutdown economic activities in the country.
NLC President, Mr. Joe Ajaero and that of TUC, Festus Osifo after their separate Emergency National Executive Council, NEC, meeting in Abuja on Tuesday, said the indefinite strike was due to insensitivity of government to the plights of Nigerians following the removal of petrol subsidy and continuous demonstration of unwillingness and complete lack of initiative.
