Edo: I’ll support Obaseki to finish well – Deputy Gov, Omobayo

The deputy governor of Edo State, Engr. Marvellous Omobayo, has pledged to work with Governor Godwin Obaseki to finish well.

Omobayo made the promise during his first visit to Akoko-Edo, his local government, since his inauguration as deputy governor of the state.

A statement by Victor Adefemi, Chief Press Secretary to the Deputy Governor, noted that Omobayo was overwhelmed by the joy and celebration of the people of Akoko-Edo, Owan, and Etsako over his appointment by Governor Obaseki.

He promised to work with the governor to put in place signature projects that people would point to as their achievements during his stint as deputy governor of the state.

Also, Omobayo toured other five local government areas of Edo North and he was well received in all the local government areas he visited.

Recall that Omobayo was sworn in as deputy governor of the state on April 8, 2024.
