Edo State Deputy Governor, Mr. Philip Shaibu on Wednesday paid a condolence visit to the family of the late People’s Democratic party, PDP National Woman Leader, Prof. Stella Attoe in Abuja.
He was received by the husband, Chief Shaibu Oyedokun, who said his late wife excelled in three major areas in her life time.
He said as an academia, she rose to the top, as a politician, she was also there at the top, and she was a good home manager.
Earlier, Mr. Shaibu described the PDP National Woman Leader as a mother who sacrificed her personal comfort for others.
On the condolence register, Shaibu wrote: ” Goodnight my Prof, sleep well my National Woman Leader. May God grant you eternal rest in the bossom of the Lord. May your labour for our nation and our great party not be in vain. May God grant the family the fortutide to bear the loss. Amen.”
Shaibu also said he missed her motherly advice.
The PDP National Woman Leader’s husband, Chief Shaibu Oyedokun was quick to remind the Deputy Governor of his intention to support his governorship ambition and tasked him not to loose hope in his quest to becoming the next Governor of Edo State.
