Property developer, Chief Adesunbo Onitiri has lauded the Tinubu administration for awarding contract for the Lagos- Calabar Coastal expressway.
He also pated the administration on the back for its bold and laudable steps taken so far to tackle security, revamp Nigeria’s economy and forced down prices of foods and essential goods.
Onitiri, a renowned socio-political activist and critic, made the commendation in statement in Lagos, on Sunday.
According to Onitiri, the award of Lagos-Calabar Coastal road contract is one of the best decisions the government has taken so far to open up the coastal states and boost the green economy of the country.
He, however, implored Mr President to involve Lagosians to be stakeholders in this gigantic and laudable project.
The social critic also noted with satisfaction the government’s aggressive move for the Naira to appreciate in value against the dollar, and in particular bringing down flight fares to Europe and America to affordable limit and within reach of ordinary Nigerians.

He lampooned all the critics of Lagos-Calabar road project whom he noted, didn’t see what developments derivable by Nigerians on its completion.
“This is a gigantic road project that will no doubt, open up our Coastal rural areas to rapid development and enhance Nigerians’ mobility. It will further enlarge the Lagos and entire Nigeria’s economy.
“Besides, I commend Mr President immensely for carrying out the comprehensive overhauling of the Third Mainland Bridge which has brought succour to Lagosians’ travel time and further enhancing the economy of Lagos state,” Onitiri remarked.
According to Onitiri, the taste of the pudding is in the eating. “Therefore, it’s time for Nigerians to support this administration and pray fervently for its success.”
He urged Nigerians should keep their hopes alive, stop cursing and bad-mouthing our dear country, Nigeria flowing with milk and honey.
“We must speak well of our country and stand well for her success. We have no other country we can call our own. Nigeria will surely be great again,” he advised.
