The HOW Foundation has rolled out a special prostate cancer screening programme in partnership with Palmars Hospital, Port Harcourt, and SYNLAB Nigeria in Lagos, offering men expanded access to preventive healthcare throughout the holiday period.
Under the initiative, men aged 40 to 65 who register in December will receive free prostate cancer screening.
From January 2026, screenings will be discounted by 50 per cent to keep the service affordable and encourage continued participation.
The programme, which forms part of the Foundation’s ongoing Prostate Cancer Awareness Campaign, aims to boost early detection and promote open conversations around one of the most common yet under-discussed health issues affecting Nigerian men.
The Foundation urged members of the public to take advantage of the initiative and prioritise regular screening as a key step toward better health outcomes.
