Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Monday, said it would continue to reclaim its stolen mandates at the national level and in all the states of the federation.
Reacting to the Governorship Election Petition Tribunal sitting in Lafia, Nasarawa State, which declared Mr. David Ombugadu of PDP, winner of the March 18, poll in the state, the party congratulated Ombugadu and the entire PDP family nationwide.
The tribunal in its judgment, nullified the election of Governor Abdullahi Sule of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in a split decision.
The judgment that lasted four hours, delivered virtually, chairman of the three-member tribunal, Justice Ezekiel Ajayi, declared Ombugadu the rightful winner of the election.
Justice Chiemelie Onaga, another member one of the panel agreed with the lead judgment read by the panel chairman.
Justice Ibrahim Mashi, in his minority decision, dismissed the petition by the PDP candidate for lacking in merit.
Meanwhile, jubilation greeted the PDP victory, which the party noted was a testament that the PDP and its candidate were cheated by the electoral umpire, INEC and the ruling APC.
